Chinese room

While reading a science fiction book (I’ll post about it once I finish) I came across the Chinese room argument.

The argument was presented by John Searle in 1980.

I don’t intend to explain what it is, nowadays you can just ask any AI chat. )))

for me, one of the unclear points is the person in the room follows the instructions

if it matters what kind of instructions, who/what creates the instructions, how to compare the instructions and the way our brain works, etc.

long story short – philosophy )))
